I rarely do this, but because of lack of posts lately, I thought I’d share a sketch from one of my stories that I’m working on at the moment.
In other news, I just found out that Cloud Boy will be translated into Chinese! I never thought that would happen EVER, so it was nice learning about the nice news from my publisher. I’ll make sure to post the cover once it becomes available!

Hello Everyone, It’s Been Awhile…

Hi. I recently fixed this site because there were a lot of lost images after I had some technical difficulties, but they are back. I also hope to post more regularly. I’ve been busy with some freelance projects, but keep going with the kids books. I’m about to jump back onboard with the latest Melvin adventure (Book #7) which should be fun as always. There’s some good illustrating challenges in this next one.
Here’s Joe the Bad Guy which I colored up for the Melvin Beederman Official Website. There are a few new characters on there and more coming! More exciting news with Melvin and Cloud Boy on the way, that I hope I can announce soon..

My biggest apologies on this site being down for so long. My current workload made it difficult for me to give it the attention needed to fix things, but it looks like things hopefully are back on track. Okay let’s see…not much to show as I’ve been hard at work on the latest Melvin book. It’s titled “Attack of the Valley Girls”. I will be at the San Diego Comic Con July 26-29
July 23rd, 2007I’ve been preparing for Comic Con which is right around the corner. I will be sharing a booth again with my pal Jamie Baker at BOOTH # 1329 (the same location as last year). I will have new kids books, a new print (previous post), some new t-shirt designs (one shown below), and if all goes well, a new sculpture! Also, a silly surprise for those who attend. I hope to get back to posting regularly on my blog once the madness is over.

My apologies for not posting in a VERY long time. I’ve been hard at work on the next Melvin Beederman book #5: THE FAKE CAPE CAPER. It’s very close to completion and then I move onto sketching Melvin Beederman book #6. I’m also preparing for the San Diego Comic Con which will take place July 26th- 29th. My First Children’s Book
March 22nd, 2007This was a book that I made, back when I was in college. It was for an Illustration class where we were asked to do an 18 page book of whatever we wanted. I came up with this silent story. It’s old, I cringe at the art, but hopefully you’ll get a kick out of it.
